  • Take a Shower

Allow hot or rather lukewarm water to run on your neck as you stay steady. Do not turn around the neck while allowing the water to hit the neck. Do this for about 5 minutes without getting away from the shower.

  • Use Bath salt

This will mainly relive tension in the muscle, improve circulation and minimize stress on it. It is recommended to use various types of bath salt for extra relief. These special salts are dissolved in water then using a soft towel, apply the liquid onto your neck while rubbing gently.

  • You should always sleep in the right posture to avoid straining your muscles.
  • Ensure that your office workstation matches your height, size and posture. For example, don’t sit on a chair that is excessively below the table while operating the computer. It will cause strain.

  • Avoid stress as it can contribute to your physical health.
